Job Description
Department Responsibility
The Purchase Department (PD) is responsible for developing, leading and executing plans and strategies, expediting and scheduling deliveries of materials and services to the Project Sites and Headquarters.
The PD will work with other Departments and Project Managers to lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts. This will include working with the internal stakeholders from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs.
The following functions and documentary obligations are required to be performed in a timely, accurate manner to the full satisfaction and approval of (AEM - CMD).
• To process all deliveries under the Purchasing Team
• To consolidate all logistic costs and report direct to EM-Purchasing for Cost Analysis and Case Studies
Principal Role and Responsibilities
• Prepare and handle Department and Section work.
• Filing, typing, documentation
• Act as support staff for the Department.
Authorities
• Under HOD / Immediate Supervisor’s guidance, to follow, process and execute all instructions on Departmental roles / functions.
• Assist and work with the assigned Department as a Team, constantly coordinating, communicating and discussing.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Proven track record with 3 years + experience as Logistics Executive
• Confident, assertive and independent.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skill.
• Relationship building and people management skill.
• Good interpersonal skill.
• Excellent command in English, Chinese will be an advantage
• Team player and can work under pressure
• Highly motivated and responsible.
