Job Description
• Develop the curriculum/program:
o Identify the needs of curriculum development through interviews with students, teachers and principals, etc.
o Develop the curriculum development plan that meets the needs and expectations of schools and the labor market
o Develop the curriculum: learning outcomes, study programs, handbook, lesson contents, teaching and learning materials including the ICT materials, etc.
o Provide the training “how to use these curriculums” to teachers and school
o Monitor the implementation of the curriculum in schools
o Evaluate and re-adjust the curriculum if necessary
o Develop the educational and pedagogical material and assessment tools:
o Identify the needs of educational and pedagogical material development through interviews with students, teachers and principals, etc.
o Develop the educational and pedagogical material development plan that meets the needs and expectations of schools and the labor market
o Develop the educational and pedagogical material
o Provide the training “how to use the educational and pedagogical material” to teachers and school
o Monitor the implementation of the educational and pedagogical material in schools
o Evaluate and re-adjust the educational and pedagogical material if necessary
o Review and update the placement test for student
o Develop the assessment tools for student
o Review and update the recruitment test for teacher
o Develop the teacher capacity building:
o Identify the teacher training needs through analysis of their jobs, career paths, annual assessments, class observation, interviews, etc.
o Develop an annual training plan that meets the needs and expectations of teachers
o Provide the training according to training planning to teachers in order to develop their pedagogy and linguistic skills
o Follow-up the teachers by conducting the class observation in order to evaluate the training processes and effects
o Coach the teachers
o Design a training manual
o Program Operations Management:
o Lead and coordinate for the quality of the French program activities – workforce planning, budgeting, need assessment, schedule, schooling & non-schooling activities
o Ensure the student recruitment projection for French classes with GE and PSEI
o Perform cooperatively with PSE HR department in staff recruitment for French program, staff contract renewal, personal updates and other staff’s issues
o Manage the staff’s daily/annual performance as acquired and with the template of annual objective & performance appraisal
o Ensure the quality of student’s learning outcomes/progress
o Support the team to ensure the program planning, admin & logistic, teaching schedule and each final term exam are smoothly organized
o Ensure that all the student’s code of conducts and discipline are standardized between schools and fully respected by students and teachers
o Promote teambuilding, leadership and professional ethics
o Perform other duties as assigned by the superiors
Job Requirement
• Master’s degree in Education, Pedagogy, Teacher Training Development or similar field of study
• Four years’ experience in Pedagogy Development, Teacher Training and staff management
• Native French speaker
• Strong leadership skill
• Microsoft office, email, Internet
• Fluent in English
• Curriculum development
• Teacher capacity building, follow-up and coaching
• Educational and pedagogic tools development
• Assessment / evaluation
• A proven record of successful strategic planning, program management, team building, financial management
• Proven high level of English. Capacity to attend international meetings and presentations
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and managerial skills

• Patience, adaptability and ability to cope with change process
