Job Description
• Maintain and monitor IT system performance and network connectivity to ensure optimal performance
• Assist in troubleshooting for all issues related to network, operating system software, applications or equipment failure
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades
• Assist in network design and implementation and recommend best practice on network infrastructure setup
• Perform systems hardening, evaluate systems vulnerabilities and apply patches/ fixes
• Assist in planning for disaster recovery activities and documentation of procedures
Job Requirement
• A recognised University Degree in Computer Science/ IT or relevant qualification. Those with CCNA or CCNP certification would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in network engineering administration and preferably with good knowledge in Cisco switches, routers and firewalls
• Possess in-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
