Job Description
- Undertake structural calculations and analysis and produce economic and efficient buildable designs.
- Liaise with the architects, other engineering disciplines, consultants and clients as required.
- Undertake quality assurance checking of drawings and calculations produced by self as directed by Team Leader.
- Ensure that all drawings are reviewed and checked by Team Leader prior to external issue.
- Produce Construction drawings & Shop Drawings, Material Submission, As-building drawings as required.
- Prepare and review bills of quantities with the architect/engineer/project team.
- Carry out inspection upon site specific requirement as directed by line manager
- Check the work done by the construction team.
- Ensure at all times good communication channels are maintained between the project team, consultant, clients and the company.
- Follow Company’s design procedures, professional standards/rules.
- Perform tasks defined by Technical Manager/Project Manager.
Job Requirement
- Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience.
- Basic time management and organizational skills with the ability to self-manage and ability to undertake own work with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
- Intermediate knowledge of Structural Engineering analysis & design software as well as CAD and general office software packages and also knowledge of design standards.
- Intermediate written and spoken communication skills with a minimum basic understanding of English.
