Job Description
• Lead construction site work strategically
• Daily report progress work
• Perform risk, value management and cost control; and preparing cost report
• Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Agree a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
• Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
• Plan the work and efficiently organise the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 2-year experiences in site engineer or similar position
• Be honest, patient, hard-working and willing to work under pressure
• Good command of English for communication (speaking, writing, listening)
• Self-motivated, creative, and resourceful
• PC skills (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Power Point, Ms Project, autocad etc.)
• Strong organizing skills and to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Good communication skills, and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation skill
• Excellence in people management skill with problem solving skill
• Be able to travel to sites/provinces and mobilize the workplace
