Job Description
• Demonstrate the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices of musical instruments, including piano, guitar, drum, etc.;
• Have the clear knowledge of choral, instrumental, and conducting;
• Work with students on plays and other events that include music;
• Assign practice and other music-related homework and test students on their knowledge and skills;
• Motivate students and encourage progress and maintain safe and positive learning environment for students;
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback and assistance to improve their musical skills;
• Maintain a tidy and orderly in music room;
• Be able to follow our schools calendar;
• Be able to attend meeting arranged by school requested;
• Play a key role in positive school climate and culture of thriving for betterment toward the school goals;
• Participate in the school events promoting school program, parent workshop, student competitions and awards ceremony;
• Attend and conduct educational trainings and conferences as needed;
• Attend and conduct academic meetings with relevant staff members and teachers;
• Be able to perform other teaching duties and responsibilities as needed and requested.
Job Requirement
• Hold Bachelor’s degree in the related field;
• Graduated from music academic school or equivalence training;
• Must be able to play piano, and guitar and being able to play drum is a plus;
• At least 1-year experience working as music teacher;
• Experienced in working with International School is preferred;
• Ability to communicate in English with students and international teachers;
• Hard-working and self-motivated person, honest, reliable, loyal, responsible, and very good team work;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Fast learner and desire to achieve set goals;
• Able to work under pressure and able to work independently.
