Job Description
• Taking the raw footage under the supervision and direction of the content manager and editing them into video content.
• Working with the content manager and CMO to develop an outline, scenario and /or script for shooting.
• Assemble the footage and photos into video content.
• Review the existing footage and create the most appropriate video for digital content.
• Conducting best output generation by cutting and connecting various footage, adding sound effects and graphics and fine-tuning the completed video content.
• Working with the content team to follow a script, screenplay or outline provided.
• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and voice-overs
• Inputting graphics to enhance footage
• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronising them into one rough cut file.
• Improving and correcting lighting, colouring and faulty footage
• Working closely with the Content Manager to present a final cut.
Job Requirement
• Certificate of training in multimedia or equivalent.
• Gain good knowledge of camera and digital gears
• At least 3 years of experience in the video and editing field.
• Proficiency in handling camera and editing software programs
• Good understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology
• Ability to take and follow directions while also having a creative eye for improvements
• A creative talent individual with a background in multimedia, art, communication, photography, videography and/or technology.
