QUANTITY SURVEYOR
1. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
2. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
3. Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
4. Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
5. Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
6. Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
7. Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.


PLANNING ENGINEER
1. Understanding project specifications and developing time
schedules and budgets that meet them.
2. Observing existing processes, analyzing staff performance, and
addressing deficiencies accordingly.
3. Monitoring and tracking project progress, and writing up reports.
4. Attending and scheduling meetings as required.
5. Delegating tasks and ensuring workers receive feedback.
6. Understanding and meeting all contract requirements.
7. Communicating with managers, supervisors, and the rest of the
team.
8. Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost
estimates.
9. Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budgets.


DRAFTSMAN
1. Following specifications and calculations to create various
2. technical drawings.
3. Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD
systems.
4. Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
5. Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating
6. knowledge gained into drawings.
7. Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering
team.
8. Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.
9. Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the
rest of the team.
